TAP DANCE CLASSES

Classes in tap dance for adults and interested teens emphasize the musicality of tap dance, its rich traditions, and rhythmic possibilities. We offer serious instruction in rhythm tap, focusing on technique, choreography, and improvisation in at atmosphere of respect and fun.

MEET OUR TAP DANCE INSTRUCTORS

SHONA MITTELDORF

Shona started taking dance classes at a young age and has continued her training ever since.  From early on, tap has been her primary dance form, but she has also trained in hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and contemporary.

SEAN FRENZEL

Sean is a tap dancer and choreographer from Arlington Heights, Illinois. He has studied tap for over 20 years, learning from Corey Lozier, Mark Yonally, Jeannie Hill, and Madison’s own Katherine Kramer.

DONNA PECKETT

Donna is a choreographer-deviser, actor, tap dancer, arts educator, and producing artistic director of TNW. She teaches technique, choreography, and multicultural perspectives of American rhythm tap dance.
