Organizational History

Home Town Newspapers Arts Residency.  Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center 8-month residency, coordinated by Danielle Dresden and Donna Peckett.  Sharon, Kilfoy, visual artist facilitator.  Jody Reiss, guest theater artist.  Funded by American Girl’s Fund for Children, City of Madison Youth Integration into Recreational and Cultural Programming, Evjue Foundation, Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center.

“The Mystery of the Missing Word.”  Janesville, Madison, Jefferson, Wisconsin.

Jam Session.  TAPIT/new works Studio Theater.  Madison, Wisconsin.

“Garden Party.”  Performance for the Madison Area Master Gardeners Annual Meeting.   Olbrich Botanical Gardens, Madison.

“Women’s Work/A Celebration.”   Featuring Jodi Cohen, Danielle Dresden, Lynette Margulies, Fabu Mogaka, Diane Monroe,  Donna Peckett, Jane Reynolds, Nydia Rojas, Joan Wildman.  Directed by Sarah Whelan, light design by Patricia Micetic, with special props and aprons by Juanita Humphrey.  Creative writing and poetry workshops with area high schools by Fabu Mogaka and Nydia Rojas.  Overture Center for the Arts.  Funded by the Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission, with additional funds from the Madison Community Foundation, the Overture Foundation and Pleasant T. Rowland Foundation; the Arts Access Fund for use of the Overture Center for the Arts, a component fund of the Madison Community Foundation; the Neil Allen Peckett Memorial Fund; Chadbourne Residential College of UW-Madison.

“Tear Up the Front Page:  Performance and Public Discussion.”  Written by Danielle Dresden, directed by Kathy Lynn Sliter, cartoons and voice work by P.S. Mueller, graphic design by Michael Duffy, light design by Patricia Micetic, costume design by Hannah Murray, stage manager, Barb Patch; production support by Marina Kelly.  Performed by Donavon Armbruster, Dave Durbin, Donna Peckett and Danielle Dresden.  Fred Newmann, humanist.  Supported by the Wisconsin Humanities Council, Wisconsin Community Fund, Wisconsin Arts Board, Dane County Cultural Affairs Commission.  TAPIT/new works Studio Theater, Madison, Wisconsin.  Statewide listening sessions with community groups on media bias.
