2015 (30th Anniversary)

Organizational History

The Me I Want To Be:  A nine-month theater arts residency about identity, with Whitehorse Middle SchooI. Facilitated by Danielle Dresden and Donna Peckett at Whitehorse Middle School. Guest artist, Rebecca Sites, costume designer and mask- maker. Fabu, poet and educator. Funded by American Girl’s Fund for Children, Wisconsin Arts Board, Whitehorse Middle School.

Convenience: Comedy, Opera, and a Neighborhood Affair. 
WORT-FM community radio. A pre-recorded broadcast of the collaborative, site-specific 2014 performance by Fresco Opera Theatre and TAPIT/new works Ensemble Theater all about the historic Schenk-Atwood Neighborhood and historic neighborhood tour.

Sandburg Elementary After School Arts Program. 
6 week theater and movement workshops for elementary age students, facilitated by Danielle Dresden and Donna Peckett. Support by Sandburg Community Learning Center.

Work the Act: Performances and Public Discussion. 
TAPIT/new works Ensemble Theater’s 30th anniversary project, featuring the Rolling Bag Players. Written by Danielle Dresden, directed by Francisco Torres, original score by Dave Adler, with lyrics by Danielle Dresden, choreography by Donna Peckett, costumes by Rebecca Stanley, lighting design by Alex Kudrna, scenic design by Francisco Torres, stage manager, Kierstyn Torres. Public discussions presented on WORT, 89.9 FM, Edgewood College Theatre class, 100 Arts Public Gathering at the rooftop, Overture Center, post performances, facilitated by Anne Katz (Arts Wisconsin), Courtney Byelich (Wisconsin Union Directorate), Diane Ragsdale (UW visiting professor/cultural critic),Heather Good (Wisconsin Union Theater). Supported, in part, by the Wisconsin Humanities Council, Wisconsin Arts Board, Dane Arts, Neil Allen Peckett Memorial Fund of TAPIT/new works, Inc.

Last Frontier Theater Conference. 
Danielle Dresden, featured playwright and short play responder.  Valdez, Alaska.

College for Kids.
 College for Kids.  Rhythm in Motion workshops. Conducted by Donna Peckett. University of Wisconsin Education Outreach and Partnerships, Pre-College Options. Madison, Wisconsin.

Kaleidoscope: A Summer Arts Program
, for ages 6 to 9. An arts enrichment project administrated by TAPIT/new works Ensemble Theater, with artists/educators, Julie Mazer, Amy Conover and Donna Peckett. Partially funded by the Neil Allen Peckett Memorial Fund and Westminster Presbyterian Church, Madison, Wisconsin.

Passion & Purpose: Making Life Meaningful.
 WRAP Conference Presentation for Wisconsin statewide care-giving Network. Interactive workshops conducted by Danielle Dresden and Donna Peckett. Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

A Night at the Zombie B&B
. Halloween weekend performances, with Francisco Torres, Nedra Bobo, Emily Morrison-Weeks, Aubrey Bobo, Danielle Dresden, Donna Peckett, staged by Francisco Torres, with technical support by Kierstyn Torres. Performances at the Mendota Lake House B&B.

Mythology & Me
. Theater arts residency. Facilitated by Danielle Dresden and Donna Peckett at Whitehorse Middle School. Costume design by Rebecca Stanley and workshop assistance by Colleen Hayes of MSCR, and co-facilitator/student teacher, Michael Graunke. Funded by American Girl’s Fund for Children, Wisconsin Arts Board, Whitehorse Middle School. Madison.

Travels with The Creative Link Theater Arts Residency. 
collaborative performance project of St. Mary’s Care Center and Verona High School’s Functional-Vocational Program for students 18 – 21. Conceived by Carmela Mulroe, Activities Coordinator for St. Mary’s Care Center; written by Danielle Dresden; facilitated by Donna Peckett and Danielle Dresden; High school facilitators, Krista Kasten and Cindy Opsal. Presented at five Madison, Wisconsin area public libraries, including Alicia Ashman Public Library, Meadowridge Public Library, Sequoya Public Library, Pinney Branch Library Madison Public Library Downtown Branch; and at St. Mary’s Care Center, Supported, in part, by the Madison Arts Commission, St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation; St. Mary’s Care Center, Verona Area High School.
